Sculpture: Hand carved stone sculpture
PO Box 305
Lopez Island, WA 98261
Preferring to work with organic forms, her sculptures may be either representational or abstract. Each stone is different and each stone leads to a unique piece of art. Her work ranges in size from pieces small enough to hold in one's hand to monumental pieces designed for public spaces. Tamara sculpts in granite, marble, limestone, and basalt. "My life, who I am as a woman on earth, emerge before my eyes, as I remove the stone to see what's inside."
